Oliver Whitehead – New drawings: re-trace

Galleriat

Drawing on paper for me is just a zone where I am for awhile and then move on. In making this series of drawings there is no apparent beginning or end, they exist as evidence of a moment between past and present. They were envisaged to be fields of activity where I retrace and feel the effects of things seen, touched and remembered. Particularly the drawings are responses to the continuum of observing plastic toys, wallpaper and the marks and layers left on walls.
